Common spaces are big and the position is perfect for the pickup tours. Friendly staff and good vibes with other guests. Purim local parties were a blast and a great surprise!

The best thing there is the rooftop with beautiful garden and bar with the most welcoming barman I've ever met 😁 and beer was good! Also the hotel staff is nice, the room and bed are comfortable and clean, and location is great, next to tramway line and Rothschild boulevard Thank you, Abraham hostel!

Unfortunately we arrived the day the rockets and everything began. I don't know what to say other than thank God we stayed at this hostel. The staff handled it so well, it was like having a network of people there to help you when you need it most. The cafeteria and bar stayed open, and they did their best to keep morale high. The place is huge and I did not know it had a large bottom floor bunker. It was pretty social given the circumstances and I can imagine during another time it is very social. Didn't have time to become familiar with the area but a few cafes and restaurants around were very good and stayed open, and you could see the ocean from the terrace.

I wrote a separate review praising the staff of Abraham Hostel for their response to the war that broke out during our stay. Here I am simply giving a review of the facility itself. The Israeli breakfast was not only very elaborate and inclusive (eggs, breads, cereals, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, many dips, and on and on), but lots of people took leftovers which served as lunch and even dinner too. It was not a party hostel but they had a bar with half a dozen beers on tap plus bottles plus booze. The rooftop garden gave a nice view of the city and groups did yoga there, while others chatted or worked on laptops. There were several art gallery installations plus murals, so that the entire place had an artistic vibe.

All the staff were amazing. A bit shout out to the young , slim guy. I think his name was Samuel. The breakfast was very good and filling. I got a YouTube channel where I show the hostel in one of my videos. " I'm travelling to the most disliked country in the world." My channel is called " MorgansWorld760 "

My son and I arrived one day before the recent War started, so this review will focus on the staff and their handling of the situation, rather than more mundane things. Tours and outside businesses were closed but the hostel maintained a normal schedule (including providing Israeli breakfasts and keeping the bar open). When sirens sounded, as they did unpredictably, the staff went to all rooms to make sure that the occupants went to the basement shelters. Beyond that, the staff were proactive and very well trained to identify and help residents who were having problems or were upset and nervous; proactive because they did not wait to be asked for help, but reached out to the residents. The night person (?Aron?) and the bartender Anton were particularly on-the-ball, socializing those who were isolated and keeping a positive tone. When my son got a flight and left early, they gave him a refund, but when I extended my stay by a day because I could not get a flight out, they waived my fee. Crisis certainly reveals character.

Very pleasant experience! Friendly staff, nice rooms, good beds. I liked the beds' construction - part is closed that the light will not disturb you and you can use your phone without disturbing others with the light of the screen. There are lockers in the room and all facilities you need. Breakfast is good. There's a nice rooftop with a bar you can sit and enjoy.

I love the Abraham hostels and have stayed at the Jerusalem one for nearly a decade many times per year. This was my first visit at the Abraham Tel Aviv, as my friends are out of town but it is equally as wonderful. This clearly is a hostel designed by people that like to travel. Huge luggage lockers below the bed, free towels and sheets, marvelous breakfast and fantastic common area, plugs and lights near the bed. Most things are more functional than cozy but this is perfectly fine. The staff is just amazing and I adore the Abraham teams that can always help and are beyond friendly. In 10 min walking distance to the beach and Carmel market, super central with plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. Two Super markets in 1 min walking distance, 3 min to Florentin and my favorite Uganda Bar and holit records. Could not ask for more. Loved the stay and will be back in ten days.
